Alloy

distinct character of contain minute graphite on
their surface layer are different from chilled
cast iron rolls (rings). The graphite dispersed
in the whole barrel's cross-section, its amount
and sized increase with depth. We manufacture
this type of rolls (rings) by adding Mn, Cr, Ni,
Mo and other alloy elements, with present of
minute graphite, the roll (rings) can be ensured
being raised the properties of resistance to
spalling, firecrack and wear resistance while
maintaining the surface hardness almost no drop.
The biting ability is also improved owing to the
existance of minute graphite porosity.
